A Respectful Workplace
(Harassment Prevention)                                                                  version français

Harassment is any unwanted physical or verbal conduct that offends or humiliates you. Harassment can create a negative or hostile work environment, which can interfere with your job performance and result in your being refused a job, a promotion, a training opportunity, or obtain a service.

In Canada, human rights legislation provides every person in the workplace the right to freedom from harassment based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, disability and etc.
