Stephen Neiman & Associates is an Ottawa-based firm that has been providing training, facilitation and consulting services to federal, provincial and municipal governments, private industry and educational institutions since 1983. The firm provides training consulting services in diversity management, harassment, bias-free staffing, cross-cultural awareness, human rights and employment equity.

Our workshops provide participants with the competencies and the tools they can use back on their jobs in order to work more effectively in an increasingly diverse workforce. Our approach to learning is highly interactive and draws heavily on the knowledge and experience present in the classroom. We use an assortment of learning tools such as case studies, written exercises and tests, simulations, lecturettes, and small and large group work. Our courses are consistently rated by participants as superior – both the relevance of the content and the quality of the instruction. A relaxed and open atmosphere is created in which participants feel comfortable in expressing their ideas.

Mr. Stephen Neiman has outstanding reputations as fluent, dynamic, adaptive, outgoing, versatile instructor with an ability to involve people in various learning interventions. He has extensive experience in adult learning over a broad range of subjects.

 

Mr. Neiman has been teaching adults for more than 35 years, 14 as a Learning and Organization Development Consultant with the federal government of Canada and the remainder as a private training consultant and service provider to both the public and private sectors.
